I bought a set of 7455 Hooker Comp BBC headers with 2 inch primaries brand new for $133 shipped to the house and a pair of LS1 exhaust flanges from GM for $48 also my wiring kit came with O2 bungs. A good friend of mine has a welding shop and we are going to put them together. Another local guy is able to get stuff nickel plated at a reasonable price. I figure to have around $3-350 in them.

This has been talked about before, try a search. I have read all of the following does work.
- Swap headers (Hookers, Edelbrock, etc)
- 4th Gen shorties and mids
- Custom made headers
- 4th Gen Full LT Headers have worked, both untouched and with some minor adjustments.
- BBC headers for your year. Cut the Flange off and weld on some LS1 flanges on, minor adjustments of some tubes.
Truck and Vette headers will not work, truck headers exit to far rearward and run into problems with the firewall. Vette header exit to far forward and run into clearnance problem with the Crossmember.
I don't recall anything about the GTO's or others.
