I would say retainer and keepers, valve seals, if the car has more than 50k miles, an oil pump, oil pump pick-up tube o-ring, and a timing chain.

whats the duration of the cam, and the LSA? thats alot more useful than lift, which really doesnt mean a whole lot.

id say that s a pretty good start. might want some new plugs if you are spraying too, as well as some RRs if you are high mileage.

I really like the pickup tube girdles from BRP Hotrods helps to eliminate the chances of pinching an oring on re installation. I run them on anything I get my hands into that little $20 could save you a lot of headaches and trouble later on.

Ok so that girdle will keep up your oil pressure even if you pinch the o ring or does it just help with the install sorry never heard of them till now.

I am sure if you had it out of alignment bad enough to pinch the oring completely in half it might not help. The girdle strengthens the holding force, and actually centers the tube much better then the stock setup. Probably one of the neatest little pieces I can think of for LS internals.

I ordered one of those girdles - will install when I do my cam/chain/oil pump. Thanks for the info on it! Seems like a GREAT idea and cheap insurance.

Don't forget to upgrade your fuel capacities very soon I will be cam only and 100 shot like you and it was strongly recommended that I upgrade my injectors and fuel pump. You will probably need to do the same.
