4th Gen speaker panels hi--can anyone on here tell me if the rear hatch speaker panels are the same for a '98-up Camaro as for a '98-up Firebird/TransAm? i have been looking for a pair with Monsoon option and interior code 14I for a '99 SS and i have some saying they are the same, and a some saying they aren't--as for perfect fitment and/or appearance and i don't want to buy them from a Firebird/TransAm owner and find out after the fact they are wrong!!!!!! does anyone here happen to know for sure? Thanks in advance!

i am fairly new to the 4th Gen Camaros and maybe i chose the wrong thread to put it under,.....but i was figuring someone has to know on here if the rear hatch speaker panels on a '98-up TransAm and a '98-up Camaro are for same appearance and fitment! are there any other threads or some idea on where i should be looking to find out for sure before i spend money on something that won't fit? Thanks!

The camaro's only have 2 speakers, the firebirds have 2 speakers and 2 tweeters in these panels. The camaro's just have the speakers, with some sound deadening over the tweeter holes.
Appearance wise once installed they are the same, The grills are the same shape
I have camaro back panels in my TA, so they do interchange, I did add the tweeters to the plastic panels from my grahite panels when I swapped to ebony interior from graphite.
