Default NA to Spray, how much MPH did you gain on a 100/150 shot?

Just curious how much MPH the average pickup is with a 100 and a 150 shot? I'd like to know what ballpark i'm gonna be in IF I ever get the time to get this dam kit put on!

Right now my average MPH is in the 118-119 range, with a best of 121 MPH so i'd like to know where i'll be at with a 100/150 shot.

Well typically on a 150 shot you can gain up to 1.3 secs faster in the e.t. But thats with a decent tune and timing pull.

i'm more concerned with MPH, because I know my PT4000 converter is NOT spray friendly. I don't expect big Et gains but i'm hoping to MPH well.

123 na, 133 n20 150 shot. ran same n20 mile even when car was slower na, so i'm guessing the converter was not the best for nitrous.

9.9 @140 N/A
8.8 @155 on 175 shot

The faster you go the less you gain.
Another 175 shot only gains us 5-7 more MPH where the 1st 175 got us 15mph.

I'm guessing i'd be lucky to gain ~10 on a 150 shot then due to the PT4000 converter. Hmm, not sure if it'll be enough to net me that 10 sec pass......

Should go 10's EASY. Matt's car (Shiz Brother) was a Dry 150 also.

That converter wont hurt to bad on a 150 shot... if you can get it to hook.

My main concern is the converter. I've been thinking about 1st gear lockout but that would kill a lot of the gain. I need to get the kit on and get to the track and just try it. Though without a cage, I'll get the boot for sure!

My converter stalls well over 5,000rpm on the motor. Yours will be OK as long as the tranny holds up and you can hook it out of the hole.

Run it and find out.

Yeah, I need to get it installed and to the track. I think I might go ahead and drop my shift points from 6900 to 6600 and my limiter down to 6800 from 7100 just to be safe.

Move the shift down but not the limiter.
Just set the N20 to turn off at 6800 so there is no chance it will spray on the limiter.

I'd rather move the limiter down too if there's a chance i'm going to hit it with even more power. I'm still on stock rod bolts and bottom end.

Quick Reply: NA to Spray, how much MPH did you gain on a 100/150 shot?
