Default Transmission Mounted Torquearm

How much stress can the transmission take with the traditional torque arm mounting? In short, how much power can the transmission tail housing take? (Auto-no trans brake)

Don't know about the tranny. But my 94 v-6 has broke a few mounts in the last couple of years.

I have seen the trans tailshaft crack completely in half with a 220 cam, 3200 stall and some DRs.

The BMT TPU001 torque arm is one of our favorites, as it takes the stress off the tailshaft. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com....html?item=171 Bob

I am running a UMI adjustable trans mounted torque arm with no issues, and I run in the mid 10's.
