I don't think it can be done.
You need to buy a new mirror without the wording if you want clear mirrors.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong ....

I know someone that does custom glass etching, and just for fun I had them do some lettering on an old motorcycle mirror. It said OBJECTS IN MIRROR APPEAR TO BE LOSING

You say that these are behind the glass and I believe you guys but You can feel that they are raised up off the glass?
