Cool Spy Shots: Preproduction Chevrolet Camaro Convertibles spotted at plant

The tan-and-silver color combination isn't one we would have thought of – the black-roofed guy at the end is much more like it – but the roofline itself looks very good. The last we were informed by GM, the car should arrive next year as a 2011 model. Hat tip to Tim!

I'm excited about them! I'm not buying either a hard top or a vert, but its going to be a great selling point for the masses i think!

'verts are cool but not my thing, but it is good to see that GM has the confidence in Camaro sales to put money toward it. Hopefully we'll get a good long run with the 5thgen.

Never been a fan of cloth/fabric verts solely due to the cone shape of the roof when on.

I would prefer either a retractible roof, targa top, or t-tops.

A raised fabric convertible top is soooo last century...

Black would have been a better choice, looks better, deff. easier to keep clean, cause it's um, black.lol. For a DD I wouldn't have a Vert either but for a weekend car sorry you wouldn't catch me dead with a hard or T top. Retractible hard top FTW.
