Default anyone installed aftermarket rotors

I am going to install stainless braided lines and hawk ceramic pads on the V and wanted to see if anyone has done any drilled and/or slotted rotors. I'm undecided on brand bc I cannot find baer or brembos. Post up what you have and how you like them (a pic would be nice too lol). Thanks.

i dont see you finding much better rotors for the V other then oem. at least for a reasonable price. i also dont see why you would need drileld or slotted unless you want appearance. stick to the brembos im sure they havent let you down yet.

It is strictly for appearance. I want to do some stoptechs but that will be after I get either iforged or ccw wheels. For now I'm stickin with the stocktechs lol. I just want the look of drilled or slotted rotors

GM offers cross drilled rotors :

88964607 front pair
88964608 rear pair

$350.00 per pair. If you asked your dealership parts dept nicely they might go $297.50 per pair.
I dont have personal experience with these rotors but they are a GM accessory part.

Cross drilling is for extra cooling and gas releasing at high temps (ROAD COARSE DUTY). Or for bling. It can also have a negative effect on brake performance in the rain, the holes give water a place to reside and get the rotor/pad surface wet, decreasing pads ability to create friction.

OEM rotors

25750248 front
25750257 rear

$131.98 each retail.

I got mine from OC Autosports. Here's some shots of the rotors on and off my car. They've been street proven for 5 months and survived a track day, VDay3. They were also reasonably priced.

I just pulled my GM Accessory drilled rotors off my V. After a years worth of track days (12 or so) the fronts developed spider cracks. The rears are still perfect. If you decide you want the GM Accessory ones, let me know and I will gladly ship you my rears (you pay the shipping). I replaced them with the UUC slotted units.

I have drilled slotted cryo treated rotors from BSI (no longer in business). They have held up to many track days and a couple auto-x with agressive track pads with no problems.

Hahah sorry man. I don't know what happened to them. They had problems getting me my rotors but bent over BACKWARDS to make me happy. When it was all said and done I only paid like $200 for 4 cryo treated rotors and a set of hawk HPS pads.

UUC 1 piece slots with Hawk HP+ pads. They work better than the stocks, but reality is the stock Brembo's are very good to begin with.
