Backspacing in inches for TTMs
I need to order some wheels for my car, but I'm getting a custom offset for the rear. I need to know what the backspacing needs to be in inches.
The 17x11s with a 50mm offset are 7.9" of backspacing right? So if I got TTMs in a 10.5" and have a rear end narrowed 4" I could get away with a 5.5" backspacing couldn't I? And they won't stick out? What is the offset on the 18x10.5s?
Just need some help figureing this out. I have a rear axle lines up and just have to figure out the wheels

Ok I can get the TT2 classics in a 17x11 in a 6" backspacing from summit for $360 a wheel. Not too bad, then I can just get the normal TT2 classics for the front and be set. I just don't want the rear wheels to stick out past the fender at all. If its dead even at the top I'm ok with that, but my car is low and I don't want to start chopping up expensive tires.
But if all goes well my car will be sitting on a 4" narrowed rear with 335/35/17 kuhmos and deep dish TTMs by spring
