Tune, exhaust? I have driven a 6.0 with a tune, it was a mean truck, and when brake boosted in 4wd off the converter the truck would launch HARD.

yes just a tune and exhaust... it does have head studs but that does nothing for performance... and well it was custom tuned SCT not just your typical SCT....

yes I love the Powerstroke diesels... the 6.4L's are turning out some really good times and power with just a tune and exhuast...

yeah, with a turbo diesel you're either in or out of it, there is no gray area. they weigh 5k lbs for god's sake. thing is... with just a good ol' boy chip they're 400hp/600tq capable and much better gearing than the GT.

If the race would have continued, the mustang would have passed him.... eventually.

I don't know what you people are talking about, I use to drive the PS Fords all the time when I worked at Halliburton. A chevy vortec 350 my mom had is faster then those piece of craps....given....they never seemed to get bogged down even when pulling 2 or 3 tons on a trailer... "or 1 ton+ in a 3/4 ton truck in the bed".

I could literally floor the 3/4 tons pulling empty load and maybe get a 0-60 time in about 15 seconds...... that's slow...so that mustang.. is a piece of shit.

well if a diesel is pushing 400hp most likely he is also pushing 800tq.. a general rule of thumb for a diesel is double the hp to get close to the tq...... and 5k???? the truck we was in is close to 8k with the driver only so with the other two passengers over 8k.....

the good thing about the 7.3 which we have 2 of them is for 99 cents you can make 5 of them blow black smoke and up the hp quite a bit. but it idles like crap and after long term use the truck will miss every now and then. but that could because my dad run it out of oil.

nice lol i had a guy talking smack about his duramax 500/1000 ft lbs when i have lil bit more horse and less than half the weight needless to say the kid lost 50 bucks that night after the race he asked what i had so i told him it was stock and that whine is just a bad idler pulley lol:secret2:
