6.0 and 4l60e I have a chance to get a built 4l60e from a 98 F-body and need to know if it will work with a 00 lq4 or what will I need to make it work thanks.

Yes. You will need some sort of controller.

yes, the extra will matter if your engine has the longer crank. (I believe all 2000 lq4s did)
you will need a torque converter with the shorter snout to fit into the crank
