Default torsen and fluid?

Do I need to add Limited Slip additive with a torsen rear or is that just with the auburn's?

No real need for the additive since it has no clutches, some people think it makes the rears quieter anyways. Good synthetic fluid should be just fine.

Any good grade of conventional gear oil will do.

syn has the additive already in it. But with torsens you dont need it. You can pretty much run any gear oil you want with them as long as its 75-90 weight.

what people don't understand is friction modifier ADDS friction so the clutches in a clutch type limited slip can grab , do not put friction modifier in a zexel torsen car!

Mine has liked RedLine Heavy Shockproof gear lube since it was installed back in 2001-2 timeframe. It's thick, tough, and keeps the Torsen gears well lubed.
