Default searched but still have a question on a 317 head swap on a truck lq4

the truck is a 2000 2500 6.0 vortec with iron heads...i have a set of stock 317 heads in the shop....
what kinda gains would i see with this swap to ese if its even worth it..

would the intake bolt right up?

i'm guessing i should mill them before putting them on to get some more compression...maybe to 68cc? or just run a thinner gasket...

u think the push rods will be the same length?

would i need to retune the truck just because of the head swap?

sorry if this has been discussed before

I wouldn't think it's worth it honestly. From what I remember they're the same head just one is aluminum and the other is iron.
