Need Head studs for my lq4 project?
I just bought a lq4. I will be procharging it as well. I will be replacing the cam and reusing my 1-3/4" headers and ls6 intake. Would you even take the heads off to put head studs in? If so just replace with OEM head gasket right?
Or would you just leave the heads on and use it.
I think i will leave rod bolts alone and keep rpms to 6700ish. Thoughts?
Boost will probably start out at 8-10lbs and at some point be 15ish if i get the itch...just guesses.
Thanks!

I just installed my ARP studs today, if I were you I'd just leave the stock stuff in it for a while. When you decide to slap some forged pistions and h beam rods then I'd stud the heads. The only reason I did mine is because I took the heads off for a head swap. I wouldnt change the fasteners and gaskets unless you have some reason to pull the heads off, jmo.
