Default Strange question 90 degree fitting to slave?

I am working on tinwork in my swap application with a T56, the gas pedal in my car is really close to my transmission and unfortunately the hydraulic input to the slave cylinder is in the same area. I can get sheet metal to fit but it would be easier if i could get a fitting to make a 90 before the quick release, anyone know if this is possible, or if it will hurt flow characteristics and cause problems. I had the line lengthened by a local parts place who crimped the quick release back on, is there some sort of generic 90 degree that they could use next time?
thanks
Jon
