Hes screwing with you guys. The awd turbo van is effectively powerglided with the 80 e, only running through in second gear.......Zombiess wants to talk gears again.
Onthe van I actually went faster short shifting first also at 6000, and might bring it down further. Its a 5.3 with a z06 cam.....you d think shift it at 6600 or so, but nada, it definately likes it lower because it falls into more torque when it shifts.
It leaves in first, runs to 50mph, then runs to 100 then shifts to 3rd, then runs to 150 mph. Each gear is 50mph....or so, then there is overdrive for cruising.
Should I put 4.56's in the van....well never know, cause I would never do it. Drivability would suffer, (80-90 on the Hiway) and it would cost 1000+ $ to do both ends.....and its gonna go 12's anyway.
