Default truck intake or stock f body

i just recently purchased an 05 lq4 with 40k on it....i found a small hole in the intake where it looks like something damaged it when it was removed.....i have access to a whole set up of stock ls1 f body intake....fuel injectors and rails....should i stick with buyin another truck intake or run the factory f body.....i assume they have different power curves....? Or spring and buy an ls6 intake....are they really worth 400 bucks......?

thanks

Yeah.. the Truck has much better low and mid range RPM and Power.. the LS1.. may just be better above 5500 rpm's.

But got with a LS6 if you can. That is the best bang for the buck!

If you swap to the car intake you have to do a few mods to the truck WP and accessories for it to work.

Might look for a TBSS LS2 90mm truck intake as well it will bolt in place. Be a nice upgrade and they are about as good as the LS6.

Its the SSR90mm one
