Default I think I need a catch can. but I am not sure

Well I have been having really bad oil consumption issues. so I was in the process of changing out the water pump and radiator along with other little things and I noticed oil on the bottom of the throttle body blade. then I opened it up to see inside the intake manifold and there is oil everywhere. is this a faulty pvc system and what can I do to remedy the issue. I think a catch can will take care of the problem. or can I get a new pvc and that will fix the problem. ps I have taken the intake manifold off and I am giving it a good cleaning.

Yes I would go ahead and get a proper catch can. Do a search, this have been covered thoroughly in a few threads.

It's a common problem. These cars like to suck a lot of oil into the intake through the PCV system. Best bet is to get a catch can.
