wich headers fit with carshopinc plates 67 camaro????

I have the Carshop 1" setback mounts with Hookers and they fit well. You can see some pics in the thread below. Do be aware that there are 3 different types of frame stands on first gen Camaros and they are all different hieghts so that will effect header clearance. Mine has the 307/327 frame stands in it.

When I was looking I never saw any info on the Doug's headers with the CarShop mounts. Do you have the standard or 1" set back mounts? Some guys have gotten away with 4th gen f body headers but I can tell you for sure that they will not work with the 1" setback mounts and 307/327 stands. I tried that route first and they were not even close. I was willing to modify them to fit but they were so far off I would have been basically startting from scratch. The Hookers fit very well with no issues at all and they hug the floorpan very closely so ground clearance is good. I wanted to go with the BRP mid lengths but they were at least 2 weeks out from being able to ship and I was ready to get the car together so I went with the Hookers and I am really pretty happy I did.

headers I am running the standard car shop mounts, engine is roughly 1' from firewall at most.... i called dougs and they have there own mounts they sent me pictures of them and they look almost like the carshopinc ones but have more holes, they look side by side identical to the hookers.. they told me that they should fit...
