I live in Tallahassee and I'm just looking for a tuner within, preferably, a 4 hour drive (though I might be pursuaded to go farther, ROAD TRIP!) to tune my car. The current tune leaves a little to be desired, though it admittidly was done to just get me by after a cam install. So any recommendations, experience, et cetera will be greatly appreciated.

Mike Norris!! He is in jacksonville and will be tuning my 01 TA TC78 383 stroker in about 3 weeks. Thats where I would go. Well known in the lsx industry and tuned many 1000+ horsepower vehicles.
Mike is in Orlando, we are in Jacksonville.

Doc and the guys at EFI did some top notch work on my cam setup and made excellent power for me. I'll definately be using them again on the new car.

Thanks vipvegas
There are a few FL choices for sure and Doc is most likely the closest to you. Most of the good tuners here in FL work together, know and respect each other. Do your homework and make a choice that works for you.

Thanks a lot for all the replies guys! Jax would definately be the most convienent location for me. As far as schedule goes, I just got a new job in the past couple months (the primary reason I can start modding my car again ), so if it is at all possible I would like to get it tuned on a Saturday.

Awesome. There are a couple things with the car I want to take care of first to get the best out of a tune, like replacing the O2 sensors which I'm pretty sure are toast, and ditching my shitty 2 3/4" y-pipe, but after that I'll be ready to go. I'll definately be in touch!

Jeremy Formato in Tampa is great.
+1 Jeremy is definitely great at what he does along with explaining everything he is doing while he is tuning your car. He also will answer any questions you have and will make sure your tune is correct before you leave.
