Question SLP Ram Air Hood?

I was recently considering getting the SLP Ram Air H.O. hood for my car. I was wondering if anyone thinks this is worth it appearance wise? and if anyone knows the general average of how much it would cost to paint this particular hood? Thx.

I love mine. I've had it for almost 2 years. Fitment was great. I think I paid around $400 to get it painted.

Best looking TA hood out there, IMO.

hawgs- Awesome looking Formula you've got there.

Thanks for the kind words. Your TA looks great too MOBE.

As MOBE said, the fitment was great... Sometimes on aftermarket fiberglass hood you have issues with everything lining up, the body shop that did mine said that it was one of the best fitting aftermarket hoods they've seen.

The quality on mine is great too. There was a slight alignment problem, but the place I took it too didn't have a hard time with it. The hood, shipping, painting, and labor cost me $1100 (Got the hood for $645)

Unhappy Were you even able to FIND the "SLP Ram-Air H.O. Hood"?!?!?!?!

Were you even able to FIND the "SLP Ram-Air H.O. Hood" part # 100075 ?!?!?!?!

I’ve looked and called everyone and there isn't one to be purchased.

If you did get one, could you please point me towards where you got yours.

Thank you so much for your time.

Dan - I ordered mine about a year and a half ago directly through SLP. I had to wait about 5-6 weeks for them to ship it, but I finally got it.

I got mine a year ago as well. I've heard they are WAY backordered right now. That could be why you can't even get on a list...

Usually around $400-600 to have done, cost can rise though if there are fitting problems or if you want them(body shop)to ""sand & buff"" to eliminate ""peel''!
