Default turbocharged + nitrous question

I have a turbocharged Firehawk running 8lbs boost, have a wet kit plumbed but haven't sprayed yet. 75hp jets installed.

1. on a boosted motor will the jets be the correct size as if N/A?
2. what will the horsepower difference be on a 8lbs boost?

don't spray untill you talk to your tuner, get it on a wideband to see where you are at.

With N20 and a turbo you need your tune to be spot on otherwise it will blow up or have other problems.

Jeez, might want to drop that down to like a 30 shot. Doesn't the size of the nitrous shot with a turbo set-up yield DOUBLE the horsepower (so 60 hp). I asked about this a couple months ago in a thread I started and I think the replies were overwhelmingly either something NOT to do, or just do a little shot just to cool the charge.

Use meth injection instead.

Have a wideband installed, current afr is 11.6 before spraying. Only 15 degrees of timing.

mike, definitely start with a smaller shot and work your way up, I hope the motor is built, dual power adders is more stress on the motor. Make sure that the tune is absolutely perfect, double and tripple check the tune if you value your motor. I popped a N/A LS1 on a 150 wet, mods were intake, exhaust, 150, and a tune. If the motor isnt built, you are already walking a fine line at 8 lbs.

+1 on the meth and a couple more lbs of boost

FWIW, on 8psi my 50 shot (rich) on the dyno made an additional ~50rwhp and 125rwtq.

Beware the multiplication effect of spray on boost - start small and work your way up, watching carefully with a wideband...

That's a huge increase in torque. What type of set up? turbo, supercharger?
