Default figured out magnaflow vibrations

so for the last like month and a half my car z28 has been making a vibrating sound and i figured out that it was the over axle pipe hitting the heat sheild i kinda just bent the heat sheild up with the ratchet i had lol ( not the best idea ) but the sound was driving me crazy so.. after i did that i fixed my small exhaust leak and the vibration went away for about a week and yesterday it came back. so what are my choices try to bend the heat sheild again? slip something that wont melt between the sheild and the over axle pipe? need some advice here guys lol.

Use a small self tapping screw and screw the heat shield down better to the body. Be sure you don't do the same to the gas tank! If it's one of the pieces attached to the tank, take it off bend it to your desired position and reattach. You can get a better bend that way than trying to bend it with it still on.
