Default New CTSV owner thats a girl, can I play with you boys?

Hey guys, My name is Brittany and I am getting my "new" 06' black on black CTSV next week. My husband suggested I join this site to make friends with other CTSV owners and gather info on how to make my car more reliable and faster. My husband has a 1,400 horsepower Saleen Mustang that is turbo charged so of course he wants to turbo my CTSV. He is sponsored by Hellion Power Systems and I know they have been talking about using my new car as a prototype for Hellions new line of LSX turbo kits soon to be released. I guess my question is, what type of interest is there in turbo kits for the CTSV? Would Hellion be waisting there time building a kit for this car? Thank you for welcoming me to this site, as a girl in a boys world I am glad to be a member for sure. Thanks again for any info/help! Ill post some pics of my car when it arrives! I cant wait! Brittany

Default Turbo Kits for Caddy

Brittney, welcome to the site and the wonderful world of LSX motors! Yeah, I think most would agree that anyone who invests in a 400+ hp Caddy is going to go for a turbo. Especially if it helps them beat an M3 or two...

Enjoy the site, there are a lot of smart guys AND girls on here that can help you out along the way. Without this forum my car would still be a pile of parts!

Clear skies!

Sadly, you're one of the closest V members to me. There just aren't that many around these parts of the country.

I can't wait to see what you and Hellion comes up with.

Thanks guys! We are leaving for Arkansas Friday to get my new Honey!! Its a one owner with 50k original miles that is completly stock....for now! Untill this week I drove an 08' Toyota Tacoma so you can imagine how excited I am to have 405hp coming into my life! My husband has a cast iron LSX block filled with a Lunati 408" stroker kit that belongs to a customer for sale that I am trying to sweet talk my way into also! We'll see I guess! Thanks again for welcoming me. Brittany

Welcome!..We have desighned a rear axle set up that has got rid of the nasty wheel hop the ctsv has, there has been a rejuvenation of wanting more power for the v becase of this so i would say it is diffently a great investment for a high quality turbo kitt.Let us know if we can help you get rid of that hop in your ctsv.ENJOY IT!

Welcome aboard Brittany!

Make sure to share pics of you V when you get it...

As far as Turbo's go, I would let Hellion do there thing but make sure they UPGRADE the rear end doing this process..

Tell them they can have the car as project, as long as they FAB you a new rear!!!

That's my only suggestion but otherwise have fun in that V.
