Rims/T-Tops. Clean?
Well, just got married and a few of my new in-laws decided to decorate the car (lucky me). They got some red window chalk on the rubber around the top of the t-top which didnt come out with soap, water, and a brush.
Also, they decided to fill in the rim in with red and blue window chalk. These are the polish aluminum factory rims for the ws6 (2001). We scrubbed with soap and water and got most of it off. It still had a red and blue tint to it. We found some metal polish which took even more off, but you can still see a faint tint to them in the light. How do I get it off? Metal buffing compound (something with some medium grit and work my way to fine grit?). Does anyone repop these rims?
