true duals + supercharger > STS turbo

You've allready got headers which will hurt performance on an STS turbo kit. Ever looked into a SC kit?
There is tons of info on here if you use the search function, but they are direct bolt on kits. IF you do go STS, run no more than 7 psi and run an intercooler, and get a dyno tune and your engine may last.

I have an sts kit for sale (sent you a PM).... Comes with upgrades and extras! Priced cheap!

https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...ics-stuff.html

the STS will be easier to install, and will be able to make more power than H/C, plus that kickass turbo spool! An if you buy my kit you have alot of potential to grow unlike the standard STS kit.

let me know!

PS alot of people diss the STS kit, but only listen to the people that own them or have owned them.... check out ZL1Killa thread alot of good info!

sure you can bolt it on but to make a rear-mount function and work to it's full potential you'll want to up-grade the fuel pump, injectors, a turbo cam, stock manifolds, exhaust wrap, and a few other small engine mods.. i love mine! no issues other then keeping the rubber on the tires.

Long tube headers disipate heat unlike a cast manifold. As we all know, turbos like heat.

Ive got a cogged F1A setup on my car now, was not hard to install..

I rode in my friends ls1 TA with 8psi out of a 67mm and it felt like a dog..
If I were you, i'd spend an extra 2k and get a front mount turbo kit. Check out kentucky turbo.

People usually don't want to race you when they hear a blower on the car

when built right, rear-mounts perform just as well as front mount systems.

Wouldnt necessarilly go that far..It is common physics that the closer the turbo is to the exhaust manifold the faster it will spool and will perform better.

This topic has been beaten to death..but if it were me id go with a front mount turbo..hell Id rather go N/A with a strong head/cam package than an STS turbo anyday.

Put the stockers on and see for yourself..It WILL spool faster than it will with heatwrapped headers.

The OP asked if STS kits are any good and I gave my 2 cents. If he's only looking for 400 rwhp and it a daily driver, why not go heads/cam to make 400 hp instead of risking blowing the motor?

hey guys thanks for the info im still not sure what im going to do but i mite just be going h/c i was just looking at the prices to go boost and i think for the money i mite be better off going n/a ive heard that cam only people get +/- 400whp so i think by adding heads i should be around 450 more or less and h/c=3k sounds better than 6k= boost
