How hard is it to do?....Mine is pretty much wasted......Do you think i could cut one out of another camaro and weld it into mine.........or maybe i should let a body shop do it

I personally would have a reputable shop do it, especially if its the inner rocker because that is structural and a major piece of the unibody. The outer is easier but if you're not a pro then have it done by one. If you don't know what you're doing then you can certainly do more harm than good!

Let a body shop do it. Your gonna need spot weld cutters, air chisel, probablly a cut off wheel and not to mention a good welder.

I bought a car that had the quarter hit and messed up some of the outter rocker. I'm in the process of doing it now. I cut a piece out and replacing it, don't seem too hard but not sure how a full rocker would be. Oh a question though. Is the outter rocker structural? I ask cause I am using panel bond on the quarter and it says for rockers in unibodies to weld it.

If you are using pannel bond on the quarter you need to weld the front and rear sections to keep it from shearing in the event of an accident. You really should weld the rocker section in.
