Default 96 Trans Am conversion question

I have a 96 trans am T-top. I use to own a 98 trans am convertible. I really like the bumper, headlights and hood of a 98-02 trans am. Is it possible to convert the front clip on a 96 to allow for this conversion? I have seen 96ish camaro's with 2000 camaro bumper, headlights and hoods.

Would I just need to by the bumper, headlights and hood? Are their extra modifications that need to happen? I heard somewhere that a finder change may be in order.

Any help would be great.

Man, even with just a hood, headlights, bumper cover, reinforcement bar...alignment...paint, etc... and yes, I think you need new fenders, but I could be wrong.

As inexpensive as these cars are getting you could just buy an LS1 for that money and haveyour LT1 car as a spare...

you can do it with everything from the fenders forward, but its not worth the money to me. as much as i like the LS1 front end, im not paying that much for looks.

To do the conversion you will need the following

-98-02 hood
-98-02 front bumper
-98-02 Driver/passenger fender
-98-02 headlamps
-98-02 fog lights
-98-02 driving lights/turn signals
-98-02 side marker lights
-98-02 front bumper support

Plus all of the mounting brackets. back in 1999 one of the guys who worked for Sun Coast Creations did this to is 1997 TA all in all he paid $1800 back then to convert his front end over. I figure today you are looking at $1200 ish depending on the style of hood.

Good luck
Sean
