Default BMW e39/e46 instrument cluster interface

Hello!

I have searched and read all over here and alot of other different forums with people doing e39 swaps. Still until this day, I have not seen any successful story with integrating HVAC and gauges. Is there anybody out there with some information?

I have a -98 Z3 mcoupe with non-standard engine, and that was a breeze to wire up fuelpump, tach and tempgauge. Are 1996 to 1998 e39`s with singlevanos-sixbangers (I think they do not have CANbus) also a straight forward job like th z3?

I know nahrods are still working (for a few years now) on a e46 swap, so I guess nobody have done that yet?

All inputs are appreciated
