Default got a question about BMR springs

If these springs are not low enough for my liking, can i do the hose mod for the rear, and perch mod for the front? shocks are new from Oreilly's.

thanks,

Lee

Lee, yes you can still do the hose mod to the rear and the perch mod to the front but i really don't recommend it. Doing those mods will make it hard for your shocks to do their job correctly. The mods that you mentioned will make the drop 2.00". You will need better shocks designed for that much of a drop. You are going to run into other issues, ground clearance, torque arm clearance to tunnel, tire clearance etc. Most of our customers have found the 1.25" drop to be acceptable. If you have any other questions please give me a call.

The "lower perch mod" in the front is only on koni single adjustable shocks, all other shocks do not have a way to lower the perch (from the factory).
And doing this on the konis with lowering springs is a good way to blow out the shock, this is meant for stock springs only.
