Default port LS6 intake

How hard is it for the average diy guy to port a LS6 intake? Whats the ez way and whats the best way?

Dremel with a fine sand paper wheel.... then go back and smooth it out by hand.... Its pretty simple, just let the wheel do the work. Dont force it.

I don't think there is much to be gained by porting an LS6 intake. I wouldn't mess with it.

all i did was took some very fine grit sandpaper and basically cleaned off the runners, didnt really port it though.

The ls6 material is hard to work with...

the reason you can port a FAST is because its more than one piece. the ls6 is a 1 piece manifold, meaning you can pretty much only port the mouth. gains will very miniscule at best. might squeak out 1 pony

i would agree its not worth messing with... there are better intakes to use if you really want to get something ported, and there are sponsors on here that are worth spending the money on to let them port it for you.
