Are 295 45 18's too big for ruff 18x9.5?

Default Are 295 45 18's too big for ruff 18x9.5?
Looking at getting Nitto nt05's in 295 45 18, are they too wide for 9.5 inch wide ruffs?

On an 18x9.5 I would run a 275/35-18

I have 275/35-18 on my 18x9.5 and 295/35-18 on my 18x10.5

Ive got that size on them now and need something taller b/c ive got 4.11's and need the width for traction. Will they fit is the question.

Yeah they will fit. Might bulge a little, but they will. I have 275s on my 9.5 wheel and they fit just fine.

You do realize they are greater than 2.75" taller than a stock tire right?

+1!! i run 18x9.5 C5 Z06 all around with a 275/35/18 nexxens. i plan on adding some 285/35/18 nitto drags. i believe that 285 are the biggest you can run.
