Default 116 fuel vs 93 octane

Was running 93 octane in main tank and 116 in standalone. Was told to run 116 in both on a 300 hit. What do you think that will do to the existing tune up will it make it rich or lean? And by how much ? My plan is to make some passes and pull all the plugs but just wanted to know if anybody had a clue what way it should go. And timing can you run more or less with 116 ? Thanks mark

Shouldnt change the A/F much but you can run more timing for sure.

If you dont have it tuned yet start with the timing low, get the plugs where you want them A/F wise then creep the timing in slowly.

I will be spraying a 200 shot and i will have 93 in the main and C16 (i think C16) in the standalone.

The tune is done,so after first pass with the 116 i will check and read plugs to see what it did to the tune up. Do i want to use c16 or q16 ?

Great question Mark... I was just reading through the tech section of VP fuels... http://www.vpracingfuels.com/tech_tune.asp
It looks like Q has more oxygen, but not sure if it's necessarily beneficial for nitrous use? I emailed the tech department with specific questions regarding our application so I'll let you know as soon as they respond.
