to anyone with overheating problems and aps twin turbos
thought i would share atleast my fix......i live in arizona so its damn hot....
just got my aps tt kit done about a month ago in the dead of heat....... with
my stock rad , fans , and tstat and no a/c it ran 210 to 215 all the time.... use to run 190 without the turbos..... when i tried turning on the a/c it would creep all the way to 260.....yikes..... so just out of the blue last week i decide to cut out the front of my bumper...... pull out that plate aps has u install infront of the intercooler and ripped out the guts in the bumper...... so last night me and the wife decided to take the car to a car show with our new puppy Tank... it was too hot for him so i turned on the a/c anyways......but kept an eye on the temp gauge.... with the a/c blasting i drove 30 miles in 102 deg air.... and the car never went over 210.... :-) now i know not everyone wants to cut the opening to there lower bumper..... but it was a damn cheap fix and...... i have better air to my intercooler.
