Rebuilding transmission after gear grinding... Hey Everyone,
So im planning on buying rebuild parts to build up my transmission myself. Basically buying everything that tick uses in their stg. 2 kit.
Only thing is, right now my 4th gear grinds 80% of the time, 3rd 10% of the time.
Ive got about 450 miles on the trans since it started this, it will still go into 4th sometimes.
When i pull it apart to do my rebuild, do you suspect ill be needing all new bearings and need to replace 3rd and 4th gear?
