well....... looks like my aps turbos out lasted my th350.......
was putting to some one bad on saturday night......... wanted to run a second time.......foot braked it to 2800 for 10 seconds and let her rip...
she was on a serious pull through first gear ..... grabbed second and zinngggggggggg.... almost over reved it....... was like it was in neutral .
had to limp it back as it made all sorts of noise in second and third gear.....
damn...... thought that th350 would hold more than 470 to the wheels.....
guess its time for a th400 with a beak and FMVB.. :-)

I would not quit on the Th350 yet. Sounds like you have an issue with the intermediate one way clutch. Do you have a sprag type clutch or a spring and roller for the intermediate? I would build it with a sprag type if it were me. I have a couple of nastyvehicles running Th350 units that have much more hp than you are running. Probably in the 800 range. Find out what happened before abandoning this unit. Vince B

problem with sticking to the th350 is..... i have the bug now...... and already building a nasty 6.0 for it...... gonna run 12 lbs of boost....... not sure the th350 will hold it....... can't keep breaking trannies
