Default Fuel pump noise

Hi all. Just researching for a LSx swap. Is there a external fuel pump setup that is quiet? I had a friend with on a while back that was loud as hell. Yes, this was about 10 years ago and with a BBC. So it is different.

I want something quiet. If the limits me to a intank setup, what would be the best way to do this. I heard that gastank that comes EFI ready that ROCKAUTO use to sell is no longer available.

Any thoughts?
Thanks,
---Jim---

I have never heard an external pump that was quiet. I use RockValley's tanks on all my cars. They come with a Walbro pump installed as well as a internal baffle to keep the pump in fuel. RockValley makes a tank for most cars, but they are a little pricey at almost $1000 for a stainless tank, but they are worth every dime!

Tanks Inc. also makes new tanks as well as retrofit modules to put in your existing tank. They are a whole bunch less expensive!

I am pretty surprised how quiet my walbro gsl392 external pump is considering I mounted to the trunk. I dont think itll be audible with the engine running. Like I said, pretty surprised. Probly a pretty good pump. Everyone loves them things.
