Default Turbo thru GM intake.

Do anyone know if you can use a composite GM or FAST intake on a Turbo setup ? If so, what would be a safe limit for boost ?

Thanks,

Check Forced induction. GM intakes will last longer then fast.

Fast has 6 screws holding it together, it would always have a negative pressure in it n/a in part drawing the top shell downward.

In boost situations they will work, but they have a limit before you will blow the top shell off.

most guys have had luck with the stock intake < 20lbs. I have ran some to 18 without issues. I would say if you REALLY plan on running above 15-16 a lot, you would want to look into something made of metal

Stock LS6 intake has made 1000rwhp in plenty of combos on here. Cheap and effective. The rear 2 cylinders should have injectors that flow a few percent more than the rest as those tend to lean out.
