Default hesitation in the kit

We got my nx kit hooked up the other day. I noticed there is some odd lag in it.

I put it in neutral got it in the window and wrapped it a few times just to get the air out.

After that I still need to make close to a full pass before the kit hits right.

The way it feels on the first couple of hits is it flashes the converter and then actually drops rpm then starts pulling but not like it should.

After that the car seems to come alive and its runs hard after the shenanigans.

Any ideas?

What pump are you running and what other mods do you have? What about line size and length from solenoid to nozzle? And are you running any type of window switch/controller?

Do you have a fuel pressure safety switch?

Did you use the built in TPS switch in the box?

IF so, try setting it up so that it activates @ 3/4 throttle.

I kind of take the same path as Nick. You may have a fuel supply issue (not to confused with capacity issue), because if it eventually catches up and runs ok, I would look there as a begining point. Try adding a hot-wire kit to ensure you get the best voltage possible and this can help up to 20% 9you can easily make one up at home and save $$). Check fuel filer. Depending on controller, some have delay that you could set to allow the fuel to start before the spray. It sounds like something basic, just keep picking at it like you are and it will come together. You didn't state, but I suspect that you are pulling off the rail? This is a very common problem for wet hits pulling off the rail and one of the reasons many go to a stand alone fuel system.

Use an inline accessory port fitting and a manual pressure gauge. Monitor the fuel pressure for a pass.
