Default EPP cam installed!

I finally got the package from FedEx at their facility - didn't have time to get it any earlier lol. Over the weekend threw the EPP Forced Induction Cam (aka Blower Cam), Patriot Dual Gold Springs and Titanium Retainers, Comp Cams Hardened Pushrods, and LS7 Lifters onto the camaro.

It sounds great with a cold idle and can only stay on with a cold idle. As soon as it warms up it will stall. I think its this 2bar speed density tune thats already on the car screwing it up. Will be throwing on the Kenne Bell Boost-A-Pump and the Meth kit for my tune coming up.

Default cam

How much vacuum do you get? I get about 12" in park, 10" in gear on a 403

cold idle im at 10.. warm idle im stalling and it seems to go down to 0 - holding the rev it will stay on fine. idk what the cause is on that.. probably just the tune

Yeah, it takes some playing around with the tune to get it right cold, warm, hot and with the air on. I do think 10" is a bit low in gear, but manageable. Brakes seems to do O.K.

Got this one idling about 850.....Seems to be happy there, most vacuum is around 29* timing at idle.

I also have that cam in my Corvette with a Magnacharger. That cam doesn't seem to like roots style blowers.

Unplug your IAT sensor & see if it idles right then. Mine was doing the same thing, & it was the fueling was wrong in the IAT table.

We've seen great results with it on positive displacement blowers in the past, I'm surprised you're having problems with it. Bob
