Quick Clarification please on RMVB, TCI won't respond to my emails
I'll just copy and paste my email to them. I've sent two emails out and no response. Funny thing is, before I purchased the valve body, they responded within two days. Now that it's purchased.....yeah. Maybe it's just a coincidence but it's annoying.
Anywho, here goes:
"I've purchased a RMVB for a 2004r and recently got into installing it. I've got a few clarification questions as I don't want to improperly install anything.
After removing the stock valve body (which I've done), the only thing I will swap to the new valve body is the 4th gear pressure switch correct? Literally nothing else gets used from my old setup? Other than that, I should just be able to put the gaskets/plate on, put the hollowed out accumulator housing back on, and slap the new valve body in? Obviously attach the gear selector as well.
Also, which pressure port is fourth gear?
Then one question that I probably know the answer too already. Removing the teflon ring from the inner piston of the servo is mandatory correct? Again, I'm sure it is...just checking though.
Please let me know if I got these questions across clearly. Thanks!"
