Default Ngk spark plugsTR55 go .040 or .060

some say it should be .040 and my car has a sticker on the side on the motor say .060 where it say 5.7 liter do anyone know what is right . right now i have it on .060 any info

.050-.055 if your stock compression, Tr6 at .040 seems is what we see a lot of although I did have a request to gap them at .035 for an LT1 customer

I've experimented on my stock engine and on my 427ci with different gaps, ranging from .040 - .060.

Absolutely NO difference at all in performance or feel at any rpm. No change in gas mileage either.

Just do .050.

I was always told to gap conventional plugs .5-.10 less per heat range drop. So if .60 is the factory spec then go
.50-.55 on the tr55, .40-.45 tr6, .30-.35 tr7. This can vary a bit, but you get the idea.
