Gears & Axles - what 8.8 for a 4th gen TA?

Hey guys, I know i could have tried harder but doing a quick search came up with squat. I just want to know what ford 8.8 is the right width for a 1993 TA. I'm thinking the crown vic is the best bet right? I need a new posi and want to go with 3.73's instead of my shitty 3.23's. 8.8 posi/disc rears are evrywhere here at the salvage yards and i just got a new stick welder so im set. I jsut need to know what car came with the right width rear.
