Default cam sensor

Hi,

i have z28 2002 35th and it is bolts on ( headers and cat back ).

i have problem with RPM gauge it is always zero while the car is running and check engine is on . i check it and every thing is ok ( cam sensor, computer,feuse also the wires ) all of the is ok but computer check always said cam sensor problem so, what is the problem ?

On my 99 there was a plug on the pass side of the intake that connects the cam sensor to the harness itself. I forgot to plug it in after a head swap and had the same issues. Does 2002s have this same white connector? It was towards the front of the intake....kinda easy to spot.

I dont know about this but the Mechanic check every thing and he said the problem is inside the engine so, it need to open

problem solved today in the workshop .. it was the camshaft need to be replaced
hope that's doesn't happened again and take care
