I live in Illinois and won't be driving the car in the winter, just did it myself and took the time to clean out my throttle body at the same time. For $10 it is cheap and can only help reduce intake temps which= power. Any gains will not be felt SOTP or anything, but it can only provide cooler air than before, so if anything there is only benefit to be had. You can PM me if you want the site where I got the kit for $10 shipped if you are interested.

Do it, Its pointless to have coolant running through your TB... It will keep your intake temps down a bit and is probably good for about 8-10hp... I did it on mine and it seems to have better TB response.... All you need is a piece of brass barb and 2 3/8in hose clamps and 2 rubber caps that can slip over the coolant in and out on the TB... 5 bucks max.... You can find this stuff at any hardware store...

While you're doing that just port the stock unit, bumpstop mod, sharpen blade edge, cut off one of the rods holding the blade, then all that will ad up to about 8-10 free hp.
