Default car cover for black ss

does anyone know of a good car cover that does not cost a arm and a leg for a car cover. only bad thing about black is that it shows every little peice of dirt. do they make a car cover that wont scratch it. it will be stored under a carport but is open on 2 sides so it gets wind and dust blown on it. thanks

I store outside too, and unfortunately I haven't found the solution yet either. I'm having to store three outside with the minnesota winter. With car covers(I found out), cheap is cheap. I shelled out the money for three California car covers (NOAH fabric) for $250 a piece. They keep the majority of the **** off, but nothing is absolute. Your obviously in a better area than I am. If its outside with wind, that's the problem I have too. I just come to terms right now that I have to polish them out when it comes time to drive them. You can't store inside anywhere at all?

ill just go to the local auto parts store and the best universal one that will fit your car... they're about 60 bucks as long as the car is clean with no debris it wont scratch it.

you might want to bungee strap it on the bottom hooks of the cover since universal covers tend to fit loose and you dont want dust sneaking in with the wind

Default thanks

yea i bought one on the cheap ones for like 60 and it will scratch the crap out of it even if you have it spotless when you put the cover over it, at least it did mine. i guess i will have to polish it more often like 1st response said. thanks for the help.

How much is an arm and leg?
I store mine in the garage but like you stuff blows in on it.
I have the duststop cover from California car cover 200 dollar range and it keeps just about every bit of the dust off car.
I did not uncover the car the whole time the pine pollen (yellow crap) was falling in spring and when I did uncover it there was no pollen on the car.

The California CC NOAH type are for both. They really hold up well against snow, even though you don't have deal with that. Tie it down well, and you should be golden.
