Default My Budget TC78 in the 9's

I have been running 9's this year with my set up. I have not figured out why my vid camera won't down load on my computer, so I used my phone to vid my TV LOL.

This run was at 12#'s, we were actually dialing it back for POA because I don't have the required stuff for 9's. Started out in the 9.8's & finally got the 10.0 we were after. They ended up picking 10.5's.

ls1 block, mahle 3.905 -4cc pistons & rings, eagle rods, arp head & rod bolts. The rest of the bolts are reused stockers, yes even the mains. 20K street miles on this set up.

Been telling people along time that the TC76 and TC78 have what it takes to get there. Congrats.

Thanks, no dyno time. I don't think it would do much on the dyno with 2.75 gears.

I just tune it on the street.

Awesome 9 sec build there. Kinda makes me wonder why I've spent so much money.

I have my shift lite set at 5800 IIRC. It's a turbo 400 with a brake, 28X11.5 et drags for the track.

Are you loping off power above that or do you just not want to pull it to 65-6800rpm? Impressive times for that low gearing, real impressive!

I would also like to know if power is dropping above 6K on the set-up, nice runs for sure with that power glide w/ OD, JK! LoL I do know it really is a Turbo 400

By the Butt-o-meter it feels like I'm shifting at the correct rpm but it's never been dyno'd plus I don't run at the track much either.

I am running out of fuel injector at around 9.8's, I get into the 90% plus DC with the motoron 60's. So I'm pretty much maxed out. I could up the base FP but it's not legal to run those numbers anyway.
