Western Members - Anybody in or around Visalia

Is there anybody around here that can delete AIR system codes from the PCM? The car is throwing p0410 and I need to get it smogged sometime this month, but of course SES being on is an automatic fail :mad:

I replaced one check valve already, I might try the other to see if it stops showing up.

shitty, mine is throwing catly efficency codes so im right there with ya :jest:

replace the other check valve and you should be good.
i live like 3 hours from you up north might be far but fix so it will be legit.
i always replaced both of them at the same time.

I sacn and clear for you but can't tune it out.

Did you clear the codes after you replaced both valves? I only have the scanner that can clear the codes but not delete them from the PCM.

Yeah, replaced both valves and cleared the codes. The old check valves were shot but even after replacing them, clearing the codes and driving about 80 miles the light came back on. So, that leads me to believe that the AIR pump either sucked in some water or dirt and messed up, or I just have extremely bad luck LOL :bang:

Talked to roughneck427 though, looks like he's gonna help me out :D

I can turn them off for you as well. Im in Shafter (10 minutes north of Bakersfield).

Just wanna say thanks to Roughneck427, the car's running great now! Thanks for helping out a guy in a bind man, hopefully the next time i see you I'll have some more mods done to the car haha. Recommend to everyone! :thumb:

No prob he said its a 3000 stall and he would take 250 for it or if you wanted to do a built tranny 50 bucks
