Personally, I don't have the nerves to put something used in my motor. It's easier to deal with a vendor then some random person off the internet. If a part does fail.
On another note. I've been on these boards a long time and you don't hear to much about people buying used parts and having problems. Usually it's a built motor or tranny with issues, bought used. Not to many individual part failures. I've even sold a low mile cam on here. I don't think you can go to wrong with rockers, pushrods or a cam. I wouldn't buy used springs regardless of how many miles they say. You never know how they were broke in. Or how hard they were ran. I feel the same about lifters. jmo Hope this helps.

Just inspect it and make sure everything is in good condition and it'd be fine.. Tons of guys run used cams that are in good shape. It's a good way to get a part a little cheaper and still have the performance.

I bought a used cam over 3 years ago. It was one of the first few grinds that NX had made up before selling their line of cams. I've put atleast 25k miles on it and it still runs awesome! I have no clue how many miles are on the cam.

When you put them in, do a couple heat cycles on them. Then just let the car warm up to temp before beating on them.
I wouldn't loose sleep over the springs. I only say caution about springs because you never know how they were treated. Same with lifters. You can do a search on how many people have no clue on what length p-rod to use. So how many lifters were beat on out of spec. Just things to think about when getting used engine parts. Some things are better off getting new.

If your worried about the springs buy a valve spring tester that you put in a vise. They're not very expensive and summit and jegs both sell them. As for the cam just visually go over the entire cam checking all lobes for nicks or scratches. If you plan on doing the install yourself be sure to degree it and check piston to valve clearance to make sure everything is good.
