Default Yank Stealth Thruster 2800

I have a 99 Z28, bone stock other than lid/exhaust, 147,xxx miles. Everything on the car is tight, it shifts perfect, and runs good. It has the 2.73 rear end.

Would the stealth thruster 2800 stall give me enough of a gain to justify $475? I'm not looking to build a stupid fast car, I'd like to see 12's but beyond that I just enjoy driving it. That stall is a lockup so I could still enjoy the 26-28 MPG I get on the highway with my 2.73s. Would I gain enough out of the hole with the 2800 to make it worth it?

Thanks!
